Kita-Alps Ohashi Bridge
A spectacular viewing spot 70 meters above the ground
The 150-meter-long and 70-meter-high Kita-Alps Ohashi Bridge connects Nabedaira Nature Park and Nakao-Kogen Highlands in Shinhotaka Onsen.
The bridge is popular as a cycling and driving route, offering magnificent views of the Hida Mountains (Northern Alps), including Mt. Kasa and Mt. Shakujo.
The bridge is also known as a great photo spot where you can see fresh greenery in late May and the autumn foliage in mid-October. With the natural beauty of the four seasons all around, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery at any time of the year.
The nearby Nabedaira Nature Park allows you to take a stroll along a course surrounded by forests of white birch and Quercus crispula (Japanese oak).
